The most important - excellent location by the river.

The hotel was in a magnificent and perfect location close enough to the fields for coffee and cake, the centre of the village and a lovely pub. The best thing was how very amiable and incredibly welcoming the staff were. The room was stocked and impeccably clean, had private bathroom.

The bed was big, and the room itself was large. The staff was very amiable and affable, some of them especially.

The location was convenient, near a local pub 100 yards away that serves great food and drinks as well as Haddon Hall. It also was next to the post office.

The food was outstanding with variety of choice! My room included central heating, an ironing set, and a coffee/tea maker.

We had a wonderful stay at Holly Cottage B&B for two nights. The room was lovely and had electric blankets on the beds. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. The B&B is conveniently located next to a shop and post office, and it was a perfect base for hiking around the Chatsworth estate.

The breakfast was okay, but nothing amazing. the location was good, with some nice walks around. We also appreciated the little touches on arrival, like a piece of cake and a chocolate, it was quite nice.

We stayed over new year and were quite disappointed with the accommodation. Our room was small and the bathroom was so tiny you could hardly move in it.
